The University of Delaware head men's soccer coach, Ian Hennessy, is pleased to welcome you to Delaware Soccer camps at the University of Delaware. A former MLS player and current USSF Academy Scout, Hennessy is delighted to be able to offer a host of camps to young players and high school boys in the Delaware area.

The Day Campswill focus on fostering a love of the game for 7-12 year old boys and girls, with a strong emphasis on technical development and fun!
 Individual skill development and group tactics will be worked on throughout the day leading into competitive play. The day is broken up with a cool dip in the UD outdoor pool which is a refreshing welcome to the day.

CAA/Delaware Soccer Day Campfor boys and girls aging from 6 to 12 years of age. Delaware Soccer Camps and CAA Soccer are joining together to run this fundraising camp at the CAA Soccer Rex Plex located in Newark, DE. It will mirror our day camp curriculim with the exception of using the UDEL Outdoor Pool and be run from 9am-1pm.

JUST ADDED AT THE CAA Soccer REX PLEX for all those tiny tots out there aging from 3 to 6 years old. Our TOTS CAMP is a gentle and fun introduction to soccer. The kids will also spend some time at our playground, enjoy a healthy snack, and play some games. They won't want to miss it!

Again this summer, Hennessy has added 2 new camps;

Rep/Team Camp: This is ideal for individual players OR teams that are ramping up for their PAGS, DELCO and MASL Fall seasons and is not for recreational level players. The focus of the camp will continue to focus on the fundamentals but to introduce functional and tactical aspects of the game as teams get ready for the season’s start. Ian and his staff will run all sessions at the University of Delaware and it will be offered at 2 time slots throughout the week.

Hennessy will also offer a 4 day residential camp for boys that are heading back into High School pre-season. Hennessy will spearhead all aspects of the camp and will be assisted by Assistant Coach Bryan Vitagliano. In addition, some of the UDEL players will attend as counselors. It will closely resemble college pre-season camp and give each player a good perspective of college soccer. We have designed our program to teach individual skills and tactics through creative and motivating sessions throughout the week. We will also include a college bound lecture, and strength and conditioning sessions. Individual talks with Coach Hennessy are encouraged.

We hope that you decide to join us this summer to help better your game and have fun while doing it.
