Camp for Monday , June 8th, 2015 is on as scheduled!

The University of Delaware head men's soccer coach, Ian Hennessy, is pleased to welcome you to Delaware Soccer Camps. A former MLS player and current USSF Academy Scout, Hennessy is delighted to be able to offer a host of camps to young players and high school boys in the Delaware area.

The
Day Camps at the University of Delaware will focus on fostering a love of the game for 7-12 year old boys and girls, with a strong emphasis on technical development and fun!
Individual skill development and group tactics will be worked on throughout the day leading into competitive play. The day is broken up with a cool dip in the UD outdoor pool which is a refreshing welcome to the day.

Day camps are also offered off site at some of our local partner facilities including
Newark Parks and Recreation. These camps are run with the same
curriculum as the above camps with the exception of using the UD outdoor pool. Come out and join us at any of our locations!

TOTS CAMP: This camp is a gentle introduction to soccer for boys and girls aging from 3-6 years old who are just showing interest in the beautiful game of soccer. These camps are held at locations with a playground for the tots to swing and slide on. The day begins with fun soccer related games, a healthy snack then a trip to the playground and finally small sided scrimmages and more fun games. Come out and kick, run and play!

Hennessy will also offer a 2 day Residential Camp for boys that are heading back into High School pre-season. Hennessy will spearhead all aspects of the camp and will be assisted by Assistant Coach Jon Scheer. In addition, some of the UDEL players will attend as counselors. It will closely resemble college pre-season camp and give each player a good perspective of college soccer. We have designed our program to teach individual skills and tactics through creative and motivating sessions throughout the week. We will also include a college bound lecture, and strength and conditioning sessions. Individual talks with Coach Hennessy are encouraged. We hope that you decide to join us this summer to help better your game and have fun while doing it.
